The short film “Envelope” starring Kevin Spacey is well worth your time

kinopoisk.ruAs you know, I’m always on the lookout for great things to share, especially when it comes to the arts.  Well, today I’d like to share with you something I found on YouTube while searching for something completely unrelated.  It’s cool when things work out like that, right?

Kevin Spacey has been one of my favorite actors for quite some time, and he’s had quite a resurgence in the last couple of years, due in no small part to the Netflix original series, House Of Cards, which Spacey also produces.

Spacey is a rare artist, and one whom I admire a great deal.  He takes chances, and pours his own talents and money into work he feels is important.  One of the projects he has undertaken is a series of short films developed and made through the Jameson First Shot short film contest.  Jameson First Shot sees Jameson Irish Whiskey collaborate with Kevin Spacey’s Trigger Street Productions to give three filmmakers the chance to bring their talent to life.

Here is one of the three winners of the 2012 contest called, Envelope.

If you’re not familiar with the short film format, this film is a wonderful introduction to it.  The storytelling is absolutely splendid.  Enjoy!
